Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Asst. Government for Home and the learned Standing Counsel for 2nd respondent. 2.

Writ petition is filed questioning the inaction on the part of the 2nd respondent in not initiating any action based on the representations made by the petitioner against the ACB officials, who trapped the petitioner in a corruption case, when he allegedly demanded and accepted the bribe of Rs.5,000/- from the complainant. In the counter affidavit filed by the 2nd respondent-Director General, Anti Corruption Bureau, Andhra Pradesh, it is stated that the allegations made by the petitioner in his representations that the ACB officials claimed false TA bills, HRA etc. are false and are made only as a counter blast to the trap laid on him by ACB officials.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties for some time and when the Court was not inclined to grant relief, learned counsel for petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition.

Therefore, recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, permission is hereby accorded and the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this case are also dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
