This revision, under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner aggrieved by the order dated 20.03.2019 passed in I.A.No.121 of 2019 in O.S.No.1199 of 2012 by the V Additional District Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.

Nagar, whereby the application filed by the revision petitioner/ defendant, under Order VIII Rule 9 of CPC, seeking permission to file additional written statement, was dismissed.

In spite of listing this matter under the caption "for orders", there is no representation for the revision petitioner/ defendant.

Heard learned counsel for the respondents/ plaintiffs and perused the record.

As per the material placed on record, at a belated stage, the revision petitioner wanted to change the nature of the defence, which is not permissible. Under these circumstances, the Court below is justified in dismissing I.A.No.121 of 2019 in O.S.No.1199 of 2012 vide impugned order dated 20.03.2019. This revision petition is devoid of merit and is liable to be dismissed.

In the result, the Civil Revision Petition is dismissed.

The Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. No costs.
