HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.3411 of 2004 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking writ of Mandamus declaring the letter No.434/11/516 dated 10.12.2003 of the respondent, wherein the petitioner has been stopped from withdrawing pension credited by Visakhapatnam Port Trust to the petitioner's savings Bank account No.1451, as illegal and arbitrary.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the purpose of filing of this writ petition has become infructuous, as the Bank is permitting the petitioner to withdraw the pensionary benefits.
3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, in this petition, shall stand closed.
