Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare and learned Government Pleader for Forests (TG).

When the matter is taken up, a letter, dated 07.03.2018, addressed by the Forest Divisional Officer, Paloncha is placed on record by the learned Government Pleader for Forests. In the said letter, it is stated that hakkupatram was granted to the petitioner under Rule 3 of RoFR Act, 2006. It is further stated that the petitioner herein is constructing a church in a part of that land and the same is in contravention of the Act. It is further stated that the petitioner herein has no right to build any type of structures in the subject land as per the said Act. 3.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of, by placing on record the said letter, dated 07.03.2018, addressed by the Forest Divisional Officer, Paloncha, keeping it open to the petitioner to proceed in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
