ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition in view of finalization of the disciplinary proceedings, and the petitioner accepting the proposed punishment of 3% cut in pension for a period of one year by filing his explanation.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, the respondents shall pass appropriate orders by duly taking into consideration the explanation submitted by the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
