HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.11554 of 2019 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner is that the Tahsildar, Anthergoan Mandal, Peddapalli District, is not taking steps to rectify the error in the new pattadar pass book issued to him in so far as the extent of land held by him in Survey No.172 of Yellampally Village, Anthergoan Mandal, Peddapally District, is concerned. According to the petitioner, the regular pattadar pass book issued to him under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, correctly reflected his landholding in the said Survey number as Acs.2.20 guntas, but while issuing him the new pattadar pass book in terms of the Government's policy, the extent in Survey No.172 is shown as only Acs.2.00 guntas. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 30.4.2018 to the District Collector, Peddapalli District, seeking rectification of this error and now complains of inaction on the part of the authorities thereon.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, State of Telangana, would inform this Court that the petitioner's writ affidavit reflects that he claims title over the subject land under a registered sale deed and in the event a copy of the same is produced before the Tahsildar, Anthergoan Mandal, Peddapalli District, he would be in a position to rectify the error, if any.

In that view of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to make a fresh representation along with a copy of the sale deed under which he claims title in relation to the

SK, J WP.No.11554 of 2019 Dt:13.6.2019 subject land and seek rectification of the entry in the new pattadar pass book. The Tahsildar, Anthergoan Mandal, Peddapalli District, shall take appropriate action upon such representation in accordance with the due procedure expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt thereof.
