THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.8607 OF 2009 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- "to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 1st respondent in not suspending the impugned orders passed by the 2nd respondent to cancelling the caste certificate of the petitioner vide Proceeding No.RCC.5(M)718/2008, dated 28.03.2009 pending disposal of the Appeal before the Govt. of A.P., as totally arbitrary and highly illegal, unjust and unconstitutional and being violative of Art.14 & 16 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the 1st respondent to stay the operation of the impugned order No.R.C.C.5(M)718/2008, dated 28.03.2009, passed by 2nd respondent."

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner requested the Court to direct respondent No.1 herein to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner vide Appeal No.3762/CV-2/2009 as expeditiously as possible.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, respondent No.1 is hereby directed to dispose of Appeal No.3762/CV-2/2009 filed by the petitioner in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
