HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 14028 OF 2005 ORDER :

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to regularize the services of the petitioner from the date of his appointment and the counsel for the petitioner submits that similarly situated persons were regularized from the date of their initial appointment, but the same was denied to the petitioner.

The Standing Counsel for the respondents contends that during the pendency of Writ Petition, the services of the petitioner were regularized and the cause in this writ petition does not survive. Accordingly, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed.

This Court, having considered the rival submissions made by the parties, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of as the cause in the writ petition does not survive. If the petitioner is having any grievance seeking regularization from earlier date, it is always open for the petitioner to submit a representation to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and upon such representation being received, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 21st December, 2018 gs
