Heard.

The petitioner states that it has been carrying on business of Jaggery and other kirana items in the name and style of M/s.Anjani Kiranam Jaggery and Rice Merchant at premises bearing D.No.1-347/5, Shop No.E-15 situated at Amba Commercial Complex, Bheemaram, Hasanparth, Warangal District, under valid TOT Registration Certificate issued by the Assistant Commercial Tax Officer, Hanamkonda. Alleging that respondent officials are interfering with the said business and visited the petitioner's shop and directed the petitioner to stop business threatening registration of criminal cases against the petitioner, the present writ petition is filed seeking a Mandamus that the respondents cannot interfere with the lawful business carried out by the petitioner.

In the present writ petition, the petitioner has impleaded various police stations in Warangal District as respondents 2 to 10 and apparently seeks an omnibus order against them. Learned Government Pleader has received instructions from the 2nd respondent, which state that the 2nd respondent never went to the licenced premises of the petitioner and never threatened it to close down the business and no case is registered against the petitioner. Learned Government Pleader for Home has received instructions from the 5th respondent, which also states that as of now no criminal case is registered against the petitioner and that the respondent Police never harassed or interfered with the lawful business of the petitioner at any point of time. In view of the said instructions, it is apparent that the petitioner has filed the present writ petition merely on apprehension without there being any cause. As on today, no case is registered against the

petitioner. The allegation of interference is, therefore, clearly unsubstantiated.

Hence, the writ petition is dismissed.

However, the respondents are at liberty to take appropriate action as per law, in case of any violation by the petitioner, but they shall not interfere with his lawful business activities. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
