ORDER

This writ petition was filed seeking to declare the action of the respondent authorities in continuing the petitioner under suspension even after lapse of six months as directed in proceedings dated 18.5.2015 issued by the 3rd respondent, as illegal and arbitrary. It appears that pending the Writ Petition, the petitioner retired from service. But the only grievance raised by the petitioner is with regard to payment of subsistence allowance. Though this Court cannot consider the relief sought for by the petitioner in the writ petition, the closure of the writ petition does not disable the respondents from considering the case of the petitioner for payment of subsistence allowance, if he is otherwise entitled to. The petitioner is at liberty to submit a representation to that effect and the respondents shall consider the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
