This Writ Petition is filed for the following relief: ".....Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in not considering the application dated 20.02.2019 submitted by the petitioner seeking allotment of house number to the house constructed on plot admeasuring 243 sq.yards, in Sy.No.186, Chinthakunta Village, Kothappally Mandal, Karimnagar District, as illegal, arbitrary....."
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development (Telangana), and the learned Standing counsel for Gram Panchayat.
The case of the petitioner is that petitioner constructed a house in accordance with the plan sanctioned by the Gram Panchayat. Thereafter, he made an application on 20.02.2019 to the 3rd respondent for allotment of house number. Despite of lapse of considerable length of time, the 3rd respondent is not considering the application of the petitioner for allotment of house number.
Learned Standing counsel would submit that the application made by the petitioner for allotment of house number would be considered and necessary steps will be taken in accordance with law.
Having regard to the respective submissions of both the parties, the 3rd respondent is directed to take necessary action on the application of the petitioner within four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Writ Petition is accordingly, disposed of. No order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions pending in the writ petition, if any, shall stand closed.
