The petitioners pray for the following relief: "to declare the action of respondent No. 2 and his subordinates in attempting to allot the house site plot Nos. 1 to 3 of the petitioners in Government land in survey No.3 of Makthal village and Mandal, Mahbubnagar district as arbitrary, illegal and high handed."

2. Respondent No.2 filed counter and a petition to vacate interim order dated 20/11/2012.

3. At the time of hearing, Sri Bajrang Singh Thakur, learned counsel for the petitioner, having regard to the averments in the counter-affidavit does not press the writ prayer.

4. The writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.

5. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
