This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner, seeking a Writ of Mandamus to declare the action of respondents 4 and 5 in not conducting survey of the land covered by Survey Nos.39 and 31 situated at Manikonda Jagir Village, Gandipet Mandal, Rangareddy District, as illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the said respondents to conduct survey of the aforementioned land and submit report to the HMDA Planning Department, in pursuance to its proceedings, dated 18.08.2018 and 20.02.2019. 2 .

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents 4 and 5 and perused the record.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner had paid requisite fee and fulfilled all the requirements in terms of the regulations governing and submitted an application to conduct survey of the land covered by Survey No.31, situated at Manikonda Jagir Village, Gandipet Mandal, Rangareddy District, the respondents 4 and 5 are not taking any action to conduct the survey.

As per the material placed on record, the petitioner has got substantial interest in the land covered by Survey No.31 situated at Manikonda Jagir Village, Gandipet Mandal, Rangareddy District. There is also record to show that the petitioner had

submitted an application, dated 06.10.2018, to the 5th respondent/ The Assistant Director, Survey and Land Records, Ranga Reddy District, to conduct survey of land covered by Survey No.31 situated at Manikonda Jagir, Gandipet Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, by paying requisite fee/ challan etc. Under these circumstances, the 5th respondent/ The Assistant Director, Survey and Land Records, Ranga Reddy District, can be directed to conduct the survey of the aforementioned land. 5 .

Accordingly, the 5th respondent/ The Assistant Director, Survey and Land Records, Ranga Reddy District, is directed to conduct survey of the land covered by Survey No.31, situated at Manikonda Jagir Village, Gandipet Mandal, Rangareddy District, in accordance with the governing land survey regulations. 6 .

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
