THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.12787 of 2014 ORDER :
Petitioner challenges the order dated 08.05.2000 whereunder the punishment of withholding of five increments with cumulative effect was imposed.

During the pendency of the writ petition, parties have agreed to refer the matter to Lok Adalat settlement. Accordingly, the matter was referred to Lok Adalat and before the Lok Adalat the parties have agreed for resolution of the dispute. 3.
Accordingly, the Lok Adalat passed the following Award : "The dispute between the parties having been referred for determination to the LOK ADALAT and the parties having compromised the case/matter, the following Award is passed in terms of the settlement.
1. Sri K.Vasudeva Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri K.Tirumala Rao, A.G.M., Law, Singareni Collieries Company Limited, are present. The matter has been settled amicably between the parties.
2. The management agreed that punishment imposed on petitioner i.e., stoppage of five increments with cumulative effect, shall be treated as stoppage of one increment with cumulative effect and the remaining four increments shall be restored w.e.f., 01.03.2017. However, the petitioner (employee) is not entitled for any arrears of the increments.
3. The parties are informed that the court fee, if any, paid by any of them shall be refunded.
4. No order as to the costs of appeal."
Recording the Award passed by the Lok Adalat, the writ petition is disposed of in terms thereof. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
