SMT. JUSTICE KONGARA VIJAYA LAKSHMI WRIT PETITION No. 7965 of 2009 O R D E R:

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider their case seeking regularization of lands in their possession.

The brief facts of the case, according to the petitioners, are that they constructed houses in small extents of lands not exceeding 50 square yards each, situated in Survey Nos.197/1 and 197/2 of Gudivada Town, Krishna District. 3.

This Court, on 18.04.2009, while admitting the writ petition, granted an interim direction to the respondents not to evict or disturb the petitioners from their respective portions of subject property.

Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Endowments appearing for respondents. 5.

Learned counsel for petitioners submits that they would file a representation before respondent Nos.2 and 3 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the order.

If the petitioners submit a representation before the respondent Nos.2 and 3 within the stipulated time, the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 shall consider and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law thereon preferably within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of the representation. Till the representation filed by the petitioners is disposed of, the respondent authorities shall maintain status-quo. If no such representation is received by them within the stipulated period, they are at liberty to act in accordance with law. No costs.
