This contempt case is filed complaining wilful disobedience on the part of the respondent in implementing the order dated 20.12.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.No.34848 of 2021. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submits that the respondent has complied with the order dated 20.12.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.No.34848 of 2021, and issued proceedings dated 21.03.2022, wherein it is stated that on receipt of the final seniority list, the request of the petitioner for promotion to the cadre of Assistant Manager (Accounts) would be considered on merits. In view of the same, the Contempt Case is closed. However, if the case of the petitioner is not considered for promotion, liberty is given to the petitioner to revive the contempt case.
