This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings against the petitioner/A-2 in C.C.No.599 of 2008 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Mydukur, Kadapa District.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has given up his vakalat long back and addressed a letter to the party.

3. It seems that the petitioner is not interested to prosecute the matter. No purpose would be served by keeping the matter pending. Hence, this Criminal Petition is dismissed for nonprosecution.

4. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
