THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER Writ Appeal No.302 of 2013 Judgment: (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) This appeal is preferred by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies against the order of the learned Single Judge setting aside the impugned letter directing the appellants-respondents to permit the respondent-writ petitioner to enter the Engineering part of the course. On being informed that the academic classes had commenced from 1.8.2012, the learned Single Judge directed the authorities to consider condonation of shortage of attendance after her admission into the VII semester.

Sri P.Vinod Kumar, learned counsel for the respondent-writ petitioner, states that the respondent-writ petitioner passed out of her Engineering course, and is no longer studying with the appellantUniversity. It is evident, therefore, that the cause in the appeal does not survive, necessitating any further adjudication by this Court. The writ appeal fails and is, accordingly, dismissed. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
