This writ petition was filed alleging that the police authorities were interfering in the petitioners' civil disputes with third parties and causing obstruction to their enjoyment of their land in certain subdivisions of Sy.No.191 of Kollur Village, Ramachandrapuram Mandal, Medak District.

The Station House Officer, Ramachandrapuram Police Station, Medak District, filed a counter-affidavit denying the allegation that the police authorities had harassed and threatened the petitioners and interfered with their lands. He stated that one Srinivas Reddy had lodged a complaint with the Ramachandrapuram Police Station, whereupon Crime No.371 of 2012 was registered under Sections 427, 447 and 506 I.P.C. against one Pokarna Yallaiah and others. The Head Constable was stated to have been deputed to visit the site for the purpose of enquiry and petty case No.731 of 2012 was registered under Section 507 I.P.C. on the file of Ramachandrapuram Police Station, which was under investigation.

The Station House Officer reiterated that the police authorities never harassed or threatened the petitioners and their employees or interfered with the life, liberty and civil disputes of the petitioners in connection with the subject land. The afore-stated stand of the police authorities is taken on record.

In the light of the stand put forth by the police authorities, no interference is called for in this writ petition. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, including the implead petition in W.P.M.P.No.41568 of 2012, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
