THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.9550 OF 2018 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner seeking verbatim the following relief: "... to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in taking action pursuant to the petitioner complaint dated 22-02-2018 and consequently direct the respondents to take action on the petitioner complaint dated 22-02-2018 and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

I have heard the submissions of Sri R.R. Kalyan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (TG) appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 4. I have perused the material record. 3.

The complaint of the petitioner is that his report, dated 22.02.2018, is not taken into consideration and no action has been taken pursuant to the said report lodged with the Station House Officer, II Town Police Station, Kothagudem, Bhadradri - Kothagudem District i.e., the 4th respondent herein. 4.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, would submit that no such report is lodged with the police. 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no acknowledgement or endorsement showing lodging of the said report with the police officer concerned.

Having regard to the submissions, the Writ Petition is closed reserving liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh report to the Station House Officer, II Town Police Station, Kothagudem, Bhadradri - Kothagudem District i.e., the 4th respondent herein. It is needless to state that in the event the petitioner submits any such fresh report, the police officer concerned shall deal with the same in accordance with the procedure established by law. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.

There shall be no order as to costs.
