Petitioner, who is the sole accused in Cr.No.12 of 2012 on the file of Station House Officer, CBCID Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 468, 471 and 420 IPC, filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the petitioner strenuously submitted the petitioner was falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that even if the allegations made in the complaint are ex facie taken to be true and correct, no prima facie case is made out against the petitioner for the alleged offences. Per contra, learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State submitted that the petitioner is a habitual offender and collecting money from the innocent persons with different names; therefore, it is not a fit case to allow the petition. 3.

The case of the prosecution is that a customer of Syndicate Bank by name Smt.G.Ratnakumari issued cheques bearing Nos.568245 and 568246, both dated 30.01.2012 for Rs.3,00,000/- and Rs.1,00,000/- in favour of I.Sudhakar and Ch.Vikram Reddy respectively. It is the further case of the prosecution that the said persons made material alterations on the cheques and drew an amount of Rs.13,00,000/- and Rs.10,00,000/- on 24.01.2012 and 25.01.2012 respectively. Basing on the complaint lodged by the Branch Manager, Syndicate Bank, Mehdipatnam Police registered the above case. 4.

The petitioner initially filed Crl.M.P.No.1703 of 2017 in unregistered Cr.No. -- of 2017 on the file of the VII Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad, under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking anticipatory bail and the same was dismissed by order, dated 09.06.2017.

Again the petitioner filed Crl.M.P.No.2078 of 2017 in Cr.No.12 of 2012 on the file of the VII

Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad, under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking anticipatory bail and the same was dismissed by order, dated 06.07.2017 on the ground that warrants are pending against the petitioner and he involved in several cases.

A perusal of the record reveals that the petitioner cheated several people and warrants are pending against him in other cases.

A perusal of the record reveals that the petitioner is an accused in the following crimes. 1.Cr.No.288/2011 of Jubilee Hills P.S. under Sections 420 and 468 IPC.

2.Cr.No.77/2016 of Jubilee Hills P.S. under Sections 406 and 420 IPC. 3.Cr.No.68/2017 of Jubilee Hills P.S. under Sections 420 and 506 IPC. 4.Cr.No.60/2010 of Tukaramgate P.S. under Sections 406 and 380 IPC.

5.Cr.No.437/2014 of S.R.Nagar P.S. under Sections 420 IPC. 6.Cr.No.97/2016 of Charminar P.S. under Sections 406 and 420 IPC. 6.

Taking into consideration the nature of the offences alleged to have been committed by the petitioner and the stage of investigation, I am of the considered view that it is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. 7.
