HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE B. SIVA SANKARA RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.5243 of 2013 ORDER :

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/accused Nos.1 to 5 under Section 482 Cr.P.C to quash the proceedings in Crime No.116 of 2013 of Arundalpet Police Station, Guntur Urban, registered for the offence punishable under Section 498-A IPC against the petitioners/ accused Nos.1 to 5.

2) It is represented by the learned Public Prosecutor that the parties compromised in the above crime and the compromise was recorded before the Lok Adalat as pre-litigation case and the present proceedings sought for against the F.I.R. no way survives and as such the Criminal Petition becomes infructuous.

3) In the result, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
