ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioners/R2 to R4 seeking to quash the proceedings in D.V.C.No.29 of 2013 on the file of Special Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate (Mobile), Anantapuram, against them.

2. The second respondent herein filed the aforesaid DVC against her husband and his relatives i.e., the petitioners/R2 to R4, alleging that her husband had illicit relationship with another woman and is ill-treating her physically and mentally and that the petitioners also used to harass her by demanding additional dowry.

3. In view of the allegations mentioned in the complaint and also the nature of proceedings, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. However, the interim order passed by this Court on 19.02.2014 dispensing with the presence of the petitioners before the trial Court except on the dates when their presence is specifically required by the Court, shall continue till disposal of D.V.C.No.29 of 2013.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
