HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.9746 of 2014 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "... to issue writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the acts of the respondent No.2 in not taking any action pursuant to the representation of the petitioner dated 21.03.2014 as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and direct the respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 21.03.2014 of the petitioner and take necessary action as per law."

During the course of hearing, learned Government Pleader placed on record written instructions dated 16.10.2019 issued by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Langerhouse Police Station, Hyderabad.

From a perusal of the said written instructions, it is revealed that on 21.02.2014 respondent No.3 received a complaint from Fatima Banu, the petitioner herein. In the said complaint, it is stated that her daughter Arshiya Jabeen left the house on 18.02.2014 and did not return back. Pursuant to the said complaint, a case in Crime No.83 of 2014 was registered under the head "Woman Missing" by Langerhouse police station.

During the course of investigation, the missing woman filed W.P.No.8553 of 2014 declaring the action of respondent No.4 in harassing the family members of the petitioner. It is also stated in the

written instructions that the petitioner's daughter attended this Court and the petitioner identified her. The missing woman stated that she joined her husband on her own volition and as such the case was closed and a final report was filed on 18.06.2014 before the VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad.

In view of the above said facts and circumstances, this Court is of the opinion that there are no merits in the writ petition and the same is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed.
