THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.37737 OF 2015
O R D E R
The grievance of the petitioner was that the Station House Officer, Langer House Police Station, Langer House, Hyderabad, was not completing the investigation in Crime No.198 of 2010 on the file of the said Police Station and filing a charge-sheet before the competent
Court.
The Sub-Inspector of Police, Langer House Police Station, furnished written instructions dated 30.11.2015 to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein he stated that Crime No.198 of 2010 under Sections 420, 448 and 506 IPC read with Section 34 IPC was registered on the file of Langer House Police Station basing upon the complaint made by the petitioner. Upon due investigation, the police authorities found no evidence of a cognizable offence and accordingly filed a final report on 28.11.2015 before the learned VIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally, Hyderabad, referring the case 'for lack of evidence'. A notice to that effect was also given to the complainant by way of registered post on the very same date.
In the light of the aforestated developments, it is for the petitioner to take recourse to appropriate remedies in accordance with law if he is aggrieved by the conclusion arrived at by the police authorities after investigation of the crime. Reserving liberty to do so, the writ petition is closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
