This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.'), is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.140 of 2013 on the file of Korukonda Police Station, Rajahmundry Rural, East Godavari District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A read with Section 34 of I.P.C. and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. During hearing, the learned Public Prosecutor for the state of Andhra Pradesh represented that the investigation agency had completed the investigation and filed the charge-sheet before the Court concerned and the case is numbered as C.C.No.698 of 2013. Therefore, the question of quashing the FIR does not arise at this stage. Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand dismissed.
