The grievance of the petitioner in this case was that the police authorities were interfering with his life and liberty without reason. Basing on the written instructions dated 04.07.2011 furnished by the Sub Inspector of Police, Bahadurpura Police Station, Hyderabad, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home stated that the fourth respondent in this writ petition had filed a complaint which led to the registration of Crime No.97 of 2011 under Sections 406 and 420 IPC. The accused therein was one Anand Kiran.

The Sub Inspector stated that the petitioner was never summoned to the police station or questioned at any point of time. He further stated that no complaint had been received against the petitioner and no criminal case had been registered against him. He categorically denied the allegation of the petitioner that the police authorities were interfering with his life and liberty or harassing him. The stand of the police authorities, as set out by the Sub Inspector of Police, Bahadurpura Police Station, Hyderabad, is duly taken on record.

In the light of the stand so taken, no orders are required to be passed in this writ petition, which is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs. ______________________ SANJAY KUMAR, J 4th JUNE, 2015 PGS
