THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.7989 OF 2018 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare (A.P.) appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3.

The only grievance of the petitioners in the present writ petition is the alleged interference of respondent No.3 pending L.T.R.No.164 of 2017.

On the complaint of respondent No.4, the respondent authorities initiated enquiry under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Scheduled Areas Land Transfer Regulations, 1959 vide L.T.R.No.164 of 2017 and commenced the enquiry in respect of the lands to an extent of Ac.20.00 cents situated in Sy.Nos.70/1, 71/1, 72/1 and 72/2 of Surampalem Village, Rajavommangi Mandal, East Godavari District. It is averred in the writ affidavit that at the instance of the unofficial respondents herein, respondent No.3 is insisting the petitioners herein not to enter into the subject lands.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the above LTR proceedings are still pending consideration before the Special Deputy Collector (Tribal Welfare), Rampachodavaram, East Godavari District, respondent No.2 herein.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the parties to the writ petition to maintain status quo with

regard to possession of the subject properties subject to the outcome of L.T.R.No.164 of 2017. It is made clear that the parties shall abide by the outcome of the said proceedings. It is also made clear that respondent No.2 herein shall make an endeavour to dispose of L.T.R.No.164 of 2017 pending before him as expeditiously as possible. There shall be no order as to costs. 6.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
