THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION Nos.12602 of 2010 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the demand made by the Assistant Director of Mines & Geology relating to the payment of stamp duty.

On 04.06.2010, this Court granted interim suspension of the proceedings No.6566/2005-G2 dated 02.02.2010, subject to condition of the petitioner paying stamp duty as per Clause 31(a)(ii) of Schedule 1-A of the Indian Stamp Act, if not already paid. It is represented by the learned counsel for petitioner that the petitioner paid the deficit stamp duty as directed by this Court and the period of lease was also completed and accordingly, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition.

Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
