HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO C.C.No.631 of 2018 ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dt.15-06-2017 in W.P.M.P.No.23634 of 2017 in W.P.No.19407 of 2017, whereunder this Court had directed the respondents in the Contempt Case to dispose of Revision Petition filed by the petitioner on 27-05-2016 within eight weeks.

After the Contempt Case is filed on 09-03-2018, the Revision Petition was disposed of on 20-11-2018 by the respondent's successor.

An affidavit has been filed by the respondent stating that he was Principal Secretary to the Government, Finance Department and had been placed Full Additional Charge to the posts of Principal Secretary to the Government, Revenue (Endowments) Department and also Commissioner of Endowments and because of pressure of work due to additional charges of other positions, he could not dispose of the Revision Petition within time.

Accepting the reasons given by the respondents for the delay in implementing the order dt.15-06-2017 in W.P.M.P.No.23634 of 2017 in W.P.No.19407 of 2017, this Contempt Case is closed granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order dt.20-11-2018 passed by

MSR,J C.C.No.631 of 2018 the successor of the respondent, if the petitioner is aggrieved by it. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
