THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.9220 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/A-8, A-9, A-10 & A-13 under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking anticipatory bail in Crime No.12 of 2014, on the file of Kalakada Police Station, Chittoor District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 353, 341, 307, 120-B read with 149 & 379 IPC and Section 27 of Forest Act and Section 3 of Sandal and Red Sandal Wood & Transits Rule, 1969 & Section 27(1)(b) of Indian Arms Act.

Heard and perused the material available on record. The allegation against the petitioners is that they, along with the other accused, involved in illegal transportation of Red Sandal logs. Taking into consideration the seriousness of the allegations against the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
