This criminal petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is filed by the petitioner/A.4 seeking grant of anticipatory bail in crime No.124 of 2015 on the file of Chittoor II Town Police Station, Chittoor District, registered for the offences under Sections 379, 120-B IPC and Sections 20(1)(c)(iii)(iv)(x) of A.P.Forest Act and Sections 3 and 4 of the A.P.Sandalwood Transit Rules, Section 29 of the Wild Life (Protection) Act and Sections 55(2) and 58 of the Biological Diversity Act.

Heard and perused the material available on record. The allegation against the petitioner herein is that the petitioner was found in possession of two red sandal logs weighing about 40 kgs and that A.1 admitted in his confession stating the involvement of other accused. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in the crime. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner herein.
