THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.2623 of 2006 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "...to issue a writ, order or direction more in the nature of writ of mandamus direct the respondents herein to restore the deferred annual increments after completion of punishment period with all consequential benefits including refixation of pay and pay arrears and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case"

Learned counsel for the petitioner having brought to the notice of this court that the petitioner died, on 19.08.2013, would further submit that no cause survives for adjudication and that, therefore, the writ petition may be dismissed as infructuous. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
