When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation during pendency of the writ petition and, therefore, the cause in the writ petition does not survive.

Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
