This Criminal Petition is {iled under Section 482 Cr'P'C' to quash the proceedings in Crime No'224 of 2O2l pending on the {rle of Medipatly Police Station, Rachakonda District The petitioners herein are Accused Nos'1,2 and 4 in the said crime' The offences alleged against them are under Sections 498-4, 323 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor.

Perused the record.

A perusal of the complaint dated 24.O3.2021 would reveal that the marriage of the first petitioner with second respondent was performed three and half years ago. Thereafter, it appears that there are matrimonial disputes arose between them. First petitioner is husband of the second respondent, second petitioner is mother and the third petitioner is sister of first accused. It appears that there are strained relations between the first petitioner and the second respondent.

Considering the above said facts and also the fact that the punishment for the offences alleged against the petitioners is seven years or below seven years, this Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the Investigating Officer in Crime No.224 ol 2O2l pending on the file of Medipally Police Station, Rachakonda District, to strictly follow the procedure laid down under Section 41-A of Cr.P.C. and also the guidelines issued by the Hon'b1e Apex Court in a decision reported

in ARJVESIIBUITIAR V/s. STATE OF BIHAR|.However, it is made clear that the petitioners shall cooperate with the Investigating Officer in concluding the investigation.
