The main grievance of the petitioners that the benefit of granting Christian Minority Status Certificate to petitioner No.2 - College for a period of three academic years from 2015-16 was denied by the respondents vide Memo, dated 08.01.2015. 3.

Since the period has lapsed by efflux of time, nothing survives for adjudication and the Writ Petition has become infructuous.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, in the event of any future cause of action, petitioners are at liberty to avail appropriate remedies. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
