This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking to declare the action of respondent No.5 in not conducting, free, fair and proper investigation in Crime No.167 of 2019 dated 12.03.2019 against the accused under Sections 120-A, 307, 328, 498-A and 406 read with 34 of IPC and not taking any action against the accused therein and insisting the petitioner on behest of accused to compromise the matter, as illegal, arbitrary and violation of principles of nature justice as well as Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct respondent Nos.2 to 5 to conduct proper investigation as per the Criminal Procedure Code. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents and perused the record.

The grievance of the petitioner is that though Crime No.167 of 2019 was registered on 12.03.2019 against the accused under Sections 120-A, 307, 328, 498-A and 406 read with 34 of IPC, police is not proceeding with further investigation and not filing final report.

There is no dispute with regard to the registration of Crime No.167 of 2019 on 12.03.2019 against the accused under Sections 120-A, 307, 328, 498-A and 406 read with 34 of IPC

on the file of Kushaiguda Police Station, Rachakonda Commissionerate. Once the crime is registered, the Station House Officer concerned has to investigate the case as per the provisions of Criminal Procedure Code. Therefore, respondent No.5-Station House Officer is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report. Further, respondent No.5 is also directed not to force the petitioner to compromise the matter.

With the above observations/ directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
