The Court made the following: [order follows] HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT WRIT PETITION NO.32729 OF 2012 O R D E R :

None appears for the petitioner at 11 'O' Clock as well as 1 'O' clock.

2. Heard Sri C.Sudesh Anand, learned counsel for first respondent.

3. The petitioner, an educational institution having affiliation of first respondent, challenges the action of first respondentuniversity in directing the petitioner to collect from students Registration/Recognition/University Services fee at Rs.2000/- for the academic year 2010-11 and Rs.2200/- for the academic year 2011-12 and 2012-13 vide Circular Orders dated 19/6/2010 read with letter of Registrar dated 04/7/2012 as illegal without jurisdiction and unconstitutional.

4. From the prayer, it is evident first respondent-university directed to levy and collection of the fee referred to above, which according to petitioner is illegal and without authority. Learned

standing counsel on instructions submits that the cause complained in the writ petition does not survive, for the University after consulting the respective managements of colleges has deferred the impugned collection of fee.

5. As the first respondent University is not insisting upon collection of the said fee the petitioner has not come forward to workout the writ prayer. The writ petition is disposed of by placing on record the submission of the learned standing counsel. No order as to costs.

6. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
