HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S. RAVI KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.18642 of 2003 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the proceedings of respondents dated 03.01.2003, through which petitioner was given compulsory retirement.

2. This Court by order dated 27.10.2003 in W.P.M.P.No.23273 of 2003 gave interim direction to respondents to consider the case of petitioner for alternative employment with immediate effect.

3. Petitioner was working as Driver in Salur Depot and on medical examination, he was declared as unfit for the post of Driver. In pursuance of the interim direction of this Court, respondents provided alternative appointment to petitioner as Shramik in Salur Depot.

4. In view of providing alternative employment to petitioner, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in terms of interim order dated 27.10.2003.

6. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
