Heard.

The petitioner states that he is subsisting license of Toddy Group No. VI, Karimnagar Town, Karimnagar District, and that the cancellation proceedings were issued against him by the Excise Superintendent, Karimnagar dated 19.10.2013 and the same are subject matter of revision before the 1st respondent. By orders of the Minister, the said cancellation order was stayed on 14.02.2014. The petitioner states that he has valid subsisting license up to 31st October, 2017 being license No.6/2007-12, dated 12.10.2007. The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that in spite of the said orders granted as above, he has not been permitted to carry on business. Learned Government Pleader, however, on instructions confirmed that the petitioner's license is valid for the period from 01.10.2012 to 31.10.2017. Thus, in view of the stay orders passed by the 1st respondent, there is no reason for respondents 2 to 4 in not permitting the petitioner to carry on business. However, the same shall be subject to further order that has to be passed by the 1st respondent.

The writ petition is therefore, disposed of directing the respondents 2 to 4 to permit the petitioner to carry on business in terms of the said license subject to further orders of the 1st respondent.

Miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
