ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus declaring the order dated 3.11.2007 passed by the 2nd respondent as arbitrary, illegal and violative of Section 5-A

(2) and Rule 3 (c) of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 and Rules and consequently to set aside the notification dated 17.6.2007. Heard Sri S.Subba Reddy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition, on instructions, submits that the respondents are not intending to acquire the land of the petitioner and the said notification has also been withdrawn.

In view of the said submission, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
