THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No. 9886 OF 2019 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 3rd respondent in calling the petitioners to the police station time and again and making the petitioners sit in the police station without there being any complaint or case registered against them. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that though no crime is registered against the petitioners, respondents-Police are harassing the petitioners by calling them to the police station without any authority of law.

Heard learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. Having regard to the facts and circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents-police not to interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioners, except in accordance with law. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
