THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.9269 of 2016 ORDER:

The prayer of the petitioner in this case is as under: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an Order or Orders or Direction more particularly in the Nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondent No.3 in not registering the complaint, dated 01.01.2016, given by the petitioner before the 3rd respondent police station and threatening the petitioner and the members to withdraw the complaint by the 4th respondent as illegal, arbitrary and violation of Article 19 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondent No.

2 to enquire the matter against the illegal acts of the 3rd respondent and file a report before this Hon'ble court and pass such other order or orders that the Hon'ble court deems fit and proper in the interest of justice." Written instructions dated 14.03.2016 were furnished by the Sub-Inspect of Police, Kovur Police Station, Nellore District, to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein the SubInspector stated that pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner before the learned Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Kovur, which was forwarded under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C., Crime No.39 of 2016 was registered under Sections 323, 341, 379, 506 and 509 I.P.C. read with Section 149 I.P.C. on the file of Kovur Police Station and investigation was taken up.

In the light of the afore-stated development, the grievance of the petitioner stands settled.
