Heard counsel for the petitioner and the Government Pleader for Prohibition & Excise appearing for respondents. 2.

The Government Pleader for Prohibition & Excise had produced proceedings dt.15.09.2016 issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Prohibition & Excise withdrawing the rejection order dt.01.09.2016 issued by him, so as to pass a fresh reasoned order.

Since the cause in the Writ Petition no longer survives for adjudication, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to pass a reasoned order after considering the explanation of the petitioner within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
