THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO W.P.No.28702 of 2013 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed challenging the action of the respondent No.3 in not extending affiliation to the 2nd petitioner college for imparting M.Sc. (Nursing) programme, in spite of the approval granted by the 2nd respondent for the academic year 2013-14, as arbitrary and illegal.

Admittedly, the affiliation sought by the petitioner for the academic year 2013-14 was over and nothing prevented the petitioner from applying for affiliation for the subsequent academic years. But the relief sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted in view of passage of time.

Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
