CVNR,J & GSP,J WP.No.8109 of 2018 THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY & THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE GUDI SEVA SHYAM PRASAD WRI T PETI TI ON No.8109 of 2018 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for issue of a Certiorari calling for the records and to quash the award, dated 23.04.2008, in PLC No.577 of 2008, on the file of the District Legal Services Authority, Guntur. The only submission urged by Mr.K.S.Murthy, learned counsel for the petitioner is that his client, who was respondent No.1 in PLC No.577 of 2008, was impersonated before respondent No.5-Lok Adalat and the impugned Lok Adalat award was thus secured by deceitful means. With reference to the above submission, we have summoned the record, which has been placed before us.

A perusal of the record shows that the identity card issued by the Election Commission pertaining to the writ petitioner/respondent No.1 is available on file. It further reveals that on 23.04.2008, the Presiding Officer/Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Guntur, passed the following docket order:

"Both parties present. Both parties entered into amicable settlement and agreed for the terms of compromise. Adalat passed award in terms of compromise (V.S.A)."

In the light of the material discussed above, the plea of the writ petitioner that he was impersonated before respondent No.5 cannot be accepted. No other point has been urged by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

CVNR,J & GSP,J WP.No.8109 of 2018 In the light of the reasons recorded above, we do not find any merit in this writ petition and the same is accordingly dismissed. No order as to costs.
