THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION NO.14067 OF 2002 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to promote the petitioner from clerical cadre to Junior Manager Grade Scale-I with retrospective effect from the date of announcement of results with all benefits.

Heard Sri P. Venkata Rao, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Dr. K. Lakshmi Narasimha, learned Standing Counsel for Andhra Bank. It has been submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that during the pendency of this writ petition, the case of the petitioner was considered for promotion and accordingly, he was promoted and therefore, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition. Recording the above submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
