THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE No.1828 of 2015 ORDER:

This contempt case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 24.08.2012 passed in W.P.No.26145 of 2012 whereby the Singareni Collieries Company Limited and its officials were directed to reserve one vacancy, if available, in the post of Electrician Trainee (Category-I).

The General Manager (Personnel) of Singareni Collieries Company Limited filed a counter-affidavit stating that the aforestated interim order was made in relation to the employment notification issued in the year 2012 but all the 150 vacancies notified thereunder were filled up and no vacancy was left to be reserved.

No reply-affidavit was filed rebutting the aforestated averment. In that view of the matter, this Court finds no disobedience, much less willful disobedience, to the order warranting exercise of contempt jurisdiction.
