ORAL ORDER:

This court granted interim stay of all further proceedings as prayed for by order dated 25.7.2014 in WP No. 21048 of 2014. The interim prayer sought by the petitioner is to stay all further proceedings pursuant to proceedings No.G1/390/2012 dated 31.1.2012 issued under Section 4 (1) of the Land Acquisition Act including dispossession of the petitioners from the lands. Alleging violation of the said directions and interference with the possession, this contempt case is filed.

Counter affidavit is filed on behalf of second respondent deposed by Mr.P. Ashok Kumar. In paragraph 6, it is stated that award was passed much before the institution of the writ petition acquiring Ac.10.31 guntas in survey No.284 of Kundanpally village, Ramagundam mandal, however, possession was taken only to the extent of Ac.6.06 guntas leaving aside Ac. 4.25 guntas which includes land of the petitioner to an extent of Ac.2.06 guntas. 3.

The averments disclose that there was no further interference after interim orders are passed and award was passed much before the institution of the writ petition. Thus, it cannot be said that respondents have violated the directions issued by this Court necessitating initiation of contempt proceedings. Accordingly, contempt case is closed. No costs.
