This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "...to pass an order or orders more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.5 to 8 in not taking any steps for completing the investigation and thereupon filing the charge sheet in Crime No.112 of 2018 under Sections 447, 427 and 506 read with 34 of IPC and Section 3(1)(r)(s) of SC, ST (POA) Amendment Act, 2015 dated 09.03.2018 on the file of 6th respondent, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of the principles of natural justice and also against Section 4(e) of SC, ST (POA) Act, 1989 and also against Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct respondent No.5 to make proper investigation and file the charge sheet..."

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents and perused the record.

The grievance of the petitioner is that though Crime No.112 of 2018 was registered on 09.03.2018 against the accused under Sections 447, 427 and 506 read with 34 of IPC and Section 3(1)(r)(s) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (PoA) Amendment Act, 2015, police is not proceeding with further investigation and not filing final report. 4.
There is no dispute with regard to the registration of Crime No.112 of 2018 on 09.03.2018 against the accused under Sections 447, 427 and 506 read with 34 of IPC and Section 3(1)(r)(s) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (PoA) Amendment Act, 2015 on the file of Godavarikhani 1-Town Police Station, Godavarikhani, Peddapplly District. Once the crime is
registered, the Station House Officer concerned has to investigate the case as per the provisions of Criminal Procedure Code. Therefore, respondent No.6-Station House Officer is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report. 5.
